Operation Soaring Eagle Golf Tournament

Cindy Lacoste, a distinguished U.S. Navy veteran, dedicated community leader, and advocate for veterans, has been named Honorary Chair for the Fourth Annual Operation Soaring Eagle Golf Tournament. The event, scheduled for May 2, 2025, will take place at Heritage Country Club in Charlton, MA, and will support HomeFront Strong, a non-profit organization committed to building resilience in veterans and military families through targeted programs and resources.

Born and raised in Chicopee, Massachusetts, Cindy Lacoste’s remarkable military career spanned over two decades. She retired as a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer in 2013, after serving in both active duty and reserve roles, including two major deployments to the Middle East. Her dedication to service, despite breaks in her military career, is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the camaraderie and mission of the military community.

Cindy’s work goes beyond her military service. For the past 28 years, she has been an integral part of Mestek, Inc., a leading HVAC manufacturing company, where she serves as Senior Paralegal and Executive Assistant to the President. Cindy is also a passionate volunteer, focusing much of her time on supporting veterans and advocating for their rights and benefits.

As a former Commander of the American Legion Post in Westfield and current Commander of District 3, she oversees 35 Posts across the region, ensuring veterans and their families have access to essential services and support. Her role as Vice Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee for the American Legion and her recent appointment by Governor Healey to the Governor’s Advisory Council on Veterans Services further demonstrates her dedication to improving the lives of veterans.
