Jennifer Baublitz, Executive Director

Jennifer Baublitz is the Executive Director of Homefront Strong, as well as an adjunct professor at Assumption University for the Human Services and Rehabilitation Studies and School Counseling Departments. Jennifer received her Master of Arts Degree in School Counseling as well as her Continued Advanced Graduate Degree in Resilience for the Helping Professionals from Assumption University where she currently teaches courses in the Fundamentals of School Counseling and Building Resilience for Service Members, Veterans and their Families. Following a career in public education, her experience as a military spouse of over 20 years, coupled with her background in mental health and family supports, served as the catalyst for her work with non-profit organizations to create community-based programming to build resilience for the military and veteran population.

Jennifer is married to Master Sergeant Dedrick Baublitz, a veteran and Active Guard Reservist who has served with the 103rd Flying Yankees since 2003. Jennifer and Dedrick have two children. Email Jennifer.

Melanie Casineau, Chief Program officer

Melanie J. Casineau, retired USAF ANG served the 104th Fighter Wing, Barnes Air National Guard base, Westfield, Mass. for over 27 years. She enlisted in January 1998 at 17 as an Information Manager. Her position changed multiple times from photographer in Multimedia to photojournalist with the 104th Fighter Wing Public Affairs office. She published public affairs products worldwide, including supporting a 2016 Theater Security Package and a real-world aircraft incident. In addition to her military position with the 104th Fighter Wing, she was a member of the Honor Guard, Yearbook Committee, and Historical Committee. Melanie Casineau spent time in Saudi Arabia, Germany and numerous locations stateside.

She supported Operation Southern Watch, Operation Noble Eagle, Operation Enduring Freedom as well as many state activations.

Melanie Casineau retired in March 2018 and continued with the 104th Fighter Wing as the Yellow Ribbon Coordinator. She assisted service members and their families in the Air National Guard connecting them with military and community resources and benefits, before, during, and after deployments. She was a Regional Lead with four assigned states coordinating the execution of local, regional, and national events for the Nation Guard Bureau. Melanie Casineau is married to Senior Master Sergeant Adam Casineau, a Veteran with over 23  years at the 104th Fighter Wing, and they have three children.

She has an associate degree from Holyoke Community College in Arts and Science and the Community College of the Air Force associate degree in Mass Communications. Email Melanie.
